NOWDC and Center for the Study of Responsive Law Announce Speakers and Agenda for “Control the Corporation”
March 21, 2012 (Scribillare) — NowDC (the National Occupation of Washington D.C.) and the Center for Study of Responsive Law have released the agenda for the "Control the Corporation" Conference, to be held at the Carnegie Institute of Washington, April 2, 2012. The event is described as an all-day strategy conference featuring experienced anti-corporatists speaking on countering the influence of corporations upon elections. Speakers include Ralph Nader, William K. Black, Chris Hedges, Dean Baker, and Gar Alperovitz. The conference is open to people attending the National Occupation of Washington, DC, and others.
